Renovation electrical work begins at first fix - before boarding and plastering - when all the cabling, back boxes, and circuit infrastructure go in. Getting this stage right is critical: cables need to be in the right positions, run at the correct depths, and routed safely through the structure. We work from your architect's or designer's drawings, mark up and agree all socket, switch, and fitting positions before work starts, and carry out first fix systematically to avoid delays at second fix.

At second fix, we return once rooms are plastered and decorated to fit all accessories - sockets, switches, luminaires, consumer unit, and any specialist equipment. We then carry out full testing and certification of the completed installation. For larger projects we work across multiple second fix stages as rooms are completed in sequence, co-ordinating with the decorator and other finishing trades to keep the project moving.
